Mathieu Filion, Eng.
General Manager
A chemical engineer with an industrial production background, Mathieu has over 15 years in plastic/rubber recycling and the environmental field of soil contamination. In 2013, he took over our Canadian operations, developing our team philosophy and streamlining processes for refrigeration recycling and halocarbon disposal. He is also active in business development and government relations.

Pier-Luc Goulet, M. Sc, CPA, CGA
Controller
Pier-Luc is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Master’s in Finance, and has been an accounting and finance professional for over 13 years. After working as a financial analyst for a private venture capital and consulting firm, he brought a wealth of experience in financial statements, budgets, and corporate finance. At PureSphera, he is responsible for accounting, contracts, and financial operations.

Vincent Marcotte
Director of Environmental and Gas Management
Vincent, a graduate in chemical engineering, oversees optimal hydrocarbon management, which involves managing carbon market operations, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Vincent plays an active role in R&D projects and efficient production techniques and processes for sustainable development. His mathematical skills, resourcefulness, composure, leadership, and kindness have made him indispensable to our team. Vincent is dedicated to environmental causes and is actively involved in politics and fair trade.

Samuel Duval
Production, Maintenance, and Engineering Manager
Recognized for stellar production performance, Samuel is a 2018 Mechanical Engineering graduate from Université de Sherbrooke, as well as a 2014 Nature Science graduate. The environment is always front and centre for this inspiring colleague. In 2019, Samuel and his fellow students embarked on a large-scale project to develop Hoola One Technology for rehabilitating ecosystems damaged by plastic pollution.

Nicolas Poiré
Maintenance, Refrigerant Gases, and Resale Workshop Manager
After graduating with a professional degree in refrigeration, Nicolas has been with PureSphera since 2016. Nicolas is in a class of his own when it comes to production, maintenance, and gas management. He also established a new resale workshop for household refrigeration appliances and parts. Before that, Nicolas worked in technical services and wastewater treatment for ten years.

Kaèle Montplaisir
engineering student, Project Manager
Kaèle ensures strict management of all the projects she leads, after working her way up through major companies such as Stantec, National Research Council Canada, Fournier Industries, Vap Group, and Olin. She has been with PureSphera since summer 2020, and currently oversees projects in continuous improvement, productivity, and machine safety. Kaèle is also responsible for occupational health and safety.

Maryse received her human resources management certificate from UQTR and is currently studying for a bachelor’s in business administration, with a specialty in HR management. Maryse is adept at managing teams in different settings.
